General

  • When using the Duct Wizard with a truckmount or portable system, you must use a Hydro-Force Dustdowner (AC18) to protect the blower of the extraction equipment.
  • Plug into 110-115 volt (household) power outlet.

Brush Attachment

  • Brushes twist on right handed. Screw goes in and tightens left handed.
  • While running brush head on a job, check for tightness several times. Brush may tighten while operating, which may loosen reverse thread (left-handed) screw, so check periodically until seated.
  • Turn brush head clockwise until tight, then install reverse thread (left-handed) locking screw until tight.

Changing Brush Direction

  • Flip the Auto/Reverse button to the off (center) position prior to changing brush direction (i.e. switching from forward to reverse). This applies to both Auto (remote) and Manual modes.

Remote Control/Remote Board

  • When fine-tuning remote board, hold down the power button on remote and fine-tune with plastic screwdriver only (included). Hold remote 3 feet away, then hold down power button until unit responds. It may be better to fine tune the unit without a hose probe attached.
  • Note: Receiver may not work or have bad reception around TVs or running microwaves, etc. In that case, switch to manual operation.

Precautions

  • Don't submerge in water.
  • Included canvas bag is used for transporting the hose. Carrying the Duct Wizard in the bag may damage the hose.
